Play a key part in theanalysis and communication of sales data and trends within the retail investment market, as well as researching market trendsin both the South African and International investment markets

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct in-depth research and analysis on financial markets, particularly those relevant to South Africa and the sales environment which affects our business.
Utilize strong spread sheeting skills to build and maintain sales and financial reports pertaining to the Retail Sales team, by performing data analysis, and generate insightful reports.
Stay current on market trends and economic news, demonstrating a passion for staying informed.
Collaborate effectively with a team of salespeople and our team of investment professionals, translating complex financial data into clear and concise sales communication strategies to support our sales team.
Draft articulate and informative emails, build presentations, and reports to keep internal and external stakeholders apprised of market developments.
Client Relationship Management System
- Support the business development teams in ensuring that that client data is up to date. Inputting client data as directed.
- Set-up and maintain distribution lists for client communication.
On a quarterly basis, do a review of contacts and update as appropriate

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 3 years working experience in financial services industry in a technical support / analytics role with exposure to retail investments / asset management / unit trust industry
A passion for financial markets and a strong understanding of current economic events, particularly in South Africa.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in commerce (Finance or Economics, or a related field of study) required.
Proven proficiency in working with spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
Coding skills are highly advantageous to this role.
