Prescient Fund Services (PFS) is a registered section 13B administrator and supplies administration services in respect of Life Policies and Retirement Funds. These Policies and Retirement Funds provide investors with access to a range of investment options. The role of Life Pooled Fund Administrator is to take responsibility for all processing and client service activities relating to Life Pooled Funds and policies.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Processing/capturing new fund/instrument details.
Processing/capturing new policyholder applications & details.
Processing/issuing policy documents to policyholders.
Processing/maintaining the Finswitch profile including fund loading and linking.
Processing/capturing all manual and Finswitch instructions received, including investments/disinvestments/switches.
Processing banking payments, including accurate amounts/payee details.
While authorising, ensuring all details are processed/captured accurately.
Processing monthly management & admin fees.
Daily reporting on pending instructions to asset managers timeously.
Daily reporting to clients (policyholders, asset managers & external administrators) timeously, including importing prices (internal and external) into the liability system
Monthly reporting to clients (policyholders, asset managers & external administrators) timeously, including special requests/additional reporting agreed on.
Monitoring of the workflow inbox & responding to emails timeously, including following up on existing pending cases – be it with the client or with other teams within the business.
Investigating and resolving routine/general queries and processing corrections if needed.
Responding to valuation statement requests.
Responding to Audit and Reg28 look-through requests.
Managing workload and prioritising tasks.
Establishing professional working relationships which includes other teams within the business, and willingness to help team members if need be (teamwork).
Establishing professional working relationships with the clients (policyholders, asset managers & external administrators).
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
2-5 years related experience in a similar administration environment with knowledge of Life Policies and Retirement Funds.
Experience with working on various systems / applications (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Investor Services portals, Finswitch).
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Matric as a minimum qualification.
Post Graduate Degree / Diploma in Commerce, Finance, Administration.
